Dental Services

A Regular Preventative Dental Exam includes a visual examination by the Dentist of your teeth, gums, and mouth and often includes taking X-rays.  The Dentist will also discuss proper oral hygiene practices and if needed, possible treatment recommendations.

Restorative dental procedures are used to treat, repair, and/or replace damaged or missing teeth.  This may include fillings, crowns, root canals, bridges, and more.

Dental cleanings include procedures used to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth.  These procedures help to prevent oral hygiene issues.

A dental sealant is a protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of your back teeth and can protect your teeth from cavities.

An extraction is the procedure of removing a tooth from its socket. Tooth extractions may be needed in severe cases of tooth decay, infection, gum disease, overcrowding, damage beyond repair, etc.

A root canal is a procedure to repair and save an infected or damaged tooth.  The process includes cleaning the canals inside of the tooth’s root by removing bacteria and infected and/or dying nerve tissue.

A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that goes over a damaged or weak tooth.  Crowns are used to protect weak or worn-down teeth.  They are also used to protect teeth with large fillings or root canals.

Fillings are used to repair cavities, minor chips, or cracks in your teeth.  Fillings help to support the tooth and improve the integrity of damaged teeth.

3D and panoramic dental x-rays provides the dentist a 3D image of the patient’s teeth, gums, and jaw.  This allows the dentist to view the images from different angles allowing the dentists a better understanding of the patients dental health.
