Positions are either required or strongly preferred to work 100% on-site in Cordova, AK to best support the services we provide to Tribal Members. Remote work may be considered depending on the position but will require a commitment to travel to Cordova to work on-site as needed.

Behavioral Health Clinician

- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Behavioral Health Clinician works with a variety of team members supporting the overall mission and goals of Ilanka Community Health Clinic and Native Village of Eyak. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides client-centered, evidence-based care to include treatment planning, case management, assessments, individual therapy, and client advocacy, as well as conducting individual, family, and group counseling sessions. The role involves collaborating with medication assisted treatment teams and Telehealth providers, managing patient records through electronic health records and participating in quality assurance and professional development activities. The Clinician also works with other community programs and participates in outreach activities.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s in Social Work or other graduate degree relevant to Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- LCSW or LPC, Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Pro Certification
- Education and/or work experience completed as a Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) may be required for candidates who are pending LPC licensure.
- Experience providing therapeutic interventions to children, individual therapy, and group therapy for substance use disorders preferred

- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Sonographer works with a variety of team members supporting the overall mission and goals of Ilanka Community Health Clinic and Native Village of Eyak. The Sonographer performs various types of ultrasound imaging while providing interpersonal and culturally relevant care to patients. The role requires the use of ultrasound equipment and working in electronic health records. A sensitivity to Native American culture and a commitment to confidentiality are also essential
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate Degree in Medical Diagnostic Sonography from an accredited institution
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience in medical diagnostic sonography
- Licensure/Certs: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Pro Certification
Housekeeper (On-Call)

- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The On-Call Housekeeper performs housekeeping and infection control tasks. Cleans and disinfects the clinic space, clinic housing and/or other clinic administrative space. Some of the duties include appropriate disposal of medical waste products, disinfecting areas where there may have been blood or bodily fluid contact while using a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read and understand directions for safely mixing cleaning agents according to the manufacturer directions. Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
